Both didn't do shite. You seem some type of insider or something? You seem to know what is happening at all these places.

No I didn't but continue to believe what you want.

yes you do, and even now all you can talk about his how Nutt hurt your feelings in a personal conversation
I'll be ready for this same shite this time next year, in year 17 of Mitch and Gus's and the Springdale parent's poor me whine
2024 will be year number 18 of this shite
in 2026 we can all have a 20 year anniversary of it and invite Walt Williams as guest speaker

For the last time I do not but whatever helps you feel better about yourself. I'm not suppose to like someone if they talk like an arse and kiss his arse because he is some damn coach. But you seem to like Nutt for some reason maybe you are his friend?

Harry, are you very, very sure Jim Lindsey wanted GM at Arkansas to the point that he relegated HDN to the side?
Lindsey called me personally the day before HDN left to go to Ole Miss, he was rallying support trying to find a way to keep nutt around another couple of years.
Now, concerning Nutt... It was time to go because he was an egotistical jackass... Malzahn was the same but exited the fan base because of the players he controlled. I can't stand GM and would relinquish my fandom if he wound up at Arkansas...
And Nutt ... Was a arrogant prick when I attempted to work with him at FCA events. Both deserved each other in a way.
I am a bit thankful for all that happened, or we would have been stuck with Nutt for even longer
OK, maybe not, lol... damn, those were crazy times!

yes
he wanted Nutt to take over for Broyles as AD and he wanted Gus as head coach

maybe you haven't heard the narrative/rumor about how much money was owed by Nutt on real estate deals - maybe that's hearsay (??) but no, I never said Lindsey was trying to get rid of Nutt - find in this thread where I said that

Did Nutt owe Lindsey money on real estate deals? (did the golden handcuffs relate to that??) Or was that another GOBN leak, truth or not? For whatever selfish reason that questions like that arise in the state of Arkansas?
Can you answer?

I'm longtime friends with 3 people who coached for him, one of them was not fond of him at all, and the two others got the hell out ASAP
two other acquaintences, one coached with him for quite a while, another lasted one year/got the hell out (and I don't know the story of why)
ETA: so does that make me a Nutt fan you think?
eta again: dchog "But you seem to like Nutt for some reason maybe you are his friend?"
I've already said in past threads, and this one, I wanted Nutt fired in 2003
"maybe I'm his friend"?
the lunacy on this topic for 16 years is amazing

My friend I mentioned earlier has been a friend of the family for decades and was a former NFL scout and current AGM/GM of a CFL team. He so he happens to be a good friend of Nutt. He wanted me to go to the Nutt residence but I declined. He said that Nutt was taking a nap on the couch while his wife was flipping burgers. He travels to college football games across the nation scouting players for his team. He knows and has contacts with all the college head coaches and recently met with Brian Kelly. He asks me and some other relatives every year who has a shot of getting drafted to the NFL and ones who has no chance but are good prospects for the CFL.

Not sure I understand buddy
I said the 4 of 5 I know who coached for him either left quickly or flat didn't like him at all - so I have no reason to be pro-Nutt at all, but 2006 was a disaster because of selfish Malzahn and his selfish egomaniac backers
I'll edit out my cussing later maybe

You have a screw loose bro. Nobody in this thread is saying malzahn was some awesome coach or that we should’ve ever hired him. You keep putting words in peoples mouth. All anyone has said is that nutt was just as much of a problem (if not more so by the end) than gus.

I honestly don't know... But it is definitely conjecture that makes sense with how thing happened.
And i was not suggesting you said Lindsey wanted HDN gone... Just remember vividly the call.
I know after the conversation that Nutt was gone period. He wouldn't agree to some of the demands to stay two more years.

I wanted Nutt gone after 04 definitely after 05. I don’t know who was available or the hot name at the time… but that backfield was the perfect backfield for Malzahn offenses.

Oh you done did it now. Harry will be in here soon to tell you how awful of a coach malzahn was and how if it wasn’t for nutt we wouldn’t have won a conference game that season
Posted on 7/20/22 at 11:26 am to Hawgnsincebirth55
Then he can eat a dick. That offense was Malzahn, and when he left we saw how Nutt ran it. Shitting the bed at any adversity.
