Would have rather hired Dan Enos as HC.

Enos has at least been a HC before. While his teams didn't set the world on fire, it is a tough place to win at. However, we have a good ideal on his type of offense, or at least is willing to adapt to the talent (he did under Bert), and has been with Saban now for a few years, and seen how Saban gets the best out of his players. So while that hardly guarantees success (see Boom at Carolina), we have at least seen him turn Allen into an NFL QB, and I would bet that he has excellent contacts for assistants. Lastly, highly doubt he would hire Chaney.

He was with Saban for 1 year before tucking tail and going to Miami to be their OC.

Fair enough, I though he was there longer. But doesn't change my opinion.

Miami fans can’t stand him. Not sure he’ll last much longer as OC there

I dont see how eons gets another chance at Hc. hes been an oc now for a while and been just ok in my opinion

Yea, but was that.because of depleted talent?
Also was his issues at Central Mixchigan partly due to lack of money to hire quality assistants? One is one thing people are hanging their hats on with Pittman.
