Most of the poor decisions made by the directors can be explained away by money. The Pittman hire. Not wanting to fire coaches and pay buyouts. John L smith season. That’s a board issue. They are hiring bean counter ADs instead of leaders.
The one truly unforced error was firing of Petrino by Jeff Long. The fact that he was rehired is an acknowledgment of that.
