I see the captains, but who is the leader. I honestly can't point to one person outside of the obvious, starting QB.
AA doesn't look like he is commanding this group.
Maybe y'all see something I'm missing.

It's sure as hell not Allen. He's playing like shite and his body language is terrible.

How well can a QB play if the fricking receivers can't get any separation at all?

Our receivers and offensive line are no prize, but it's unquestionable that Austin is holding the ball far too long in the pocket. He's simply not progressing through his reads with the speed required of an SEC quarterback.

This. Even when he has time he abandons the pocket immediately and holds onto the ball until he's getting hit before trying to pass.
He's also a shite leader. He wears his frustration on his sleeve and I get the feeling other players don't really respect him.

His temper tantrum last night was childish

Brandon Allen always seemed apathetic and I thought Austin's more intense attitude would translate into better focus with the game on the line.
Instead, he's apathetic when he makes bad plays but blows up when his teammates mess up. He was smiling after he overthrew his receiver by 10 yards.

I made a post here asking if anyone else got the feeling that Austin wasn't near the same leader Brandon was. I think now my fears were right. Our team carried Brandon off the field. Right now if Austin drove us down the field to win a game I feel our team would just walk away happy we won, but wouldn't stop to high five Austin.
Turns out Brandon carried these teams on his back and the team knew it. Austin frustrates his own team, because he can't handle his emotions like Brandon could.

there were two point yesterday AA was extremely angry at himself. One where he missed on a wide open REC. He knew it and was pissed.
However, he let others have it as well. There is something about the "It" factor... not sure it exists with AA

Here is the post I made. Seems when I listen to my gut I'm right about these things. I gotta stop drinking the kool-aid in the off season
Brandon was better than his brother and I knew it
Looks like he didn't step up

know this is off topic, but does anyone else get the feeling that Brandon was viewed more as a leader than Austin is?
I just get the feeling that the 2015 team was Brandon's team. I Don't feel like last year's team was Austin's team. Hopefully he steps up this year.
