Yea, and the you mentioned “real estate”.

Again, your lack of self awareness is showing. Grow up, let it go, be vulnerable, this is fun.

Symbiotic. Look the word up.

One of the lines from 'The Music Man' that has always stuck with me (spoken by a salesman) is "You gotta know the territory."

The last two coaches we had 'didn't know the territory', the SEC. Both had no idea what it took to succeed in this league. Both had no ties to the area.

I'm afraid it will be same song, third verse with Campbell. Sure, he's doing a pretty remarkable job with ISU, but he's not dealing with a conference that will eat you alive.

However, I have no say in who we hire, so I will sit back and hope for the best.

I’m having the most fun I’ve had in a while on here. Thought as an old head on this board I was forgotten but you are keeping me alive and well on here and for that I’m appreciative. Thank you son.

If it ends up being Campbell I think we will all be happy given time. I'm confident he would do a great job. I think he's a good enough coach that the recruiting will fall into place for him no matter where he goes.

JMO. And like you, I have no sway over who they choose either.

To be perfectly honest, I don't even care much at this point. I didn't think I would ever grow to be this apathetic about this team. I have my hopes up for Campbell, but if they hired some shithead that I knew was doomed to failure, I wouldn't even lose my shite. I'm already not giving a shite, it isn't hard to just keep on not giving a shite.

Campbell must be pretty damn good at recruiting, just looking over his 2020 class for Iowa State he has a ton of guys from Texas and Florida, and one of the top QBs in this class.

Yeah 38th isn’t bad at all when they normally recruit in the 50’s or 60’s

Noticed a few KC area kids on the list, for some reason we don't value those like DVH does in baseball.

Isaiah Simmons is a good example when Bielema had him to camp but wouldn't offer because he didn't know where to play him.
