Whoever it is needs to be excommunicated from the Razorbacks Athletic Department. Anybody have names?

It was the anti-styrofoam and plastic policies of city council...clearly

My guess is that Kiffin's agent slow played us waiting to see if a last minute job offer would come up... and it did.

I get the sense this is not so much we put the brakes on as it is that Kiffin, and other coaches, are scared to come here and try to rebuild the program.

Kiffin didn't want to play games in Little Rock.

Not saying I jinxed the hire but...

I haven’t seen anything concrete that said Kiffin was ever coming here.

Jeff Long. Kiffin called him.

That's a good guess. And plausible. But it does not satisfy my anger. So I reject it.

There's someone, or some people, out there gumming up the works and stumping for Butch Davis or Barry Lunney to get the job, IMO. I'd like to know exactly who those people are.

And how do you know this? This could easily be a scapegoat.

Any potential coach sees the situation and the extreme risk in taking this job right now. You're looking at least one, maybe two years to get to a bowl at best. Even though Chad Morris should have been fired, it sets a bad precedent for any potential coach that he was fired in less than two seasons. You're basically going to be walking into unrealistic expectations and locker room in total chaos that is only going to get worse in 2020 without some type of heroic finish before signing day. Or you could stay at your G5 school and win another 10-11 games and wait for something else.

While it wont be easy, any coach worth a grain of salt can show improvement from one year to the next. Right now we just want to beat teams like San Jose St., Western Kentucky, Colorado St, etc..

Chad was that bad. He couldn't even beat those teams in year 2. We had more talent, and still found ways to lose.

We can't even be sure how hotly Kiffin was pursued.

I mean, I really hope Ole Miss outplayed us. I hope we gave it our best shot at least.

Well, according to all of these "source" guys, the thing with Kiffin was a done deal supposedly. He was ready to sign and Yurachek was compelled to conduct more interviews to appease money men. Kiffin then says, "OK. I guess I'll look around too then." And the rest is history.

So who are those "money men?" They fricked this up. And I don't believe Jeff Long had a damn thing to do with it. I think that's those same "money men" making excuses so people won't point the finger at them.

These people are idiots.

I'm really not going to get angry until the hire is announced. Everyone was prepared to get behind Kiffin, but that doesn't mean the hit can't be decent.

I have a pitchfork. I need pointed towards a castle.

Kidding mostly. I'm not officially angry yet, but it's right there beneath the surface for when this thing officially goes South.

We should know something today I'd imagine.

Some of y'all trust our dipshit media way too much.

Most of them are still adding to the "Kiffin was coming" story on their social media, mainly to cover their asses for being so damned wrong.

They're media. They all lie.

We really need a legit journo or two to follow Arkansas athletics. These people don't do their jobs at all. They all act as mouthpieces for the University. Which is fine during a coaching search, but there could be other instances where that is not OK.

I wish I had the pockets to get something going my damn self.

OK then. frick those guys.

If Yurachek is smart he will take the next opportunity to self report to the NCAA any shenanigans associated with those two dumb shits. Force the University to break ties with those two.
