Quality Thread #189

quote:

Blytheville will forfeit two victories after using an ineligible player in four games this season, the Arkansas Activities Association announced Monday.

The Chickasaws used the player in two victories -- Aug. 31 against Osceola and Sept. 28 in a 5A-East Conference game at Nettleton. They also used the player Sept. 7 against West Memphis and Sept. 14 against Marion.

With the forfeits, Blytheville is now 3-5 overall and 3-2 in the 5A-East. The Chickasaws were in a first-place tie with Nettleton at 4-1 in the 5A-East before the forfeits. Nettleton's record is now 8-0 overall and 5-0 in conference.

Battle of the orange and black in title town Friday night.

After an absolutely atrocious game last Friday where officials were reprimanded for multiple poor calls, the scrap will be out for blood.

Nashville had 3 TDs taken off the board, was called for more than 20 penalties, while Harmony Grove somehow pulled a Bama and got out of the game with less than 5 penalties. Clock not starting on the snap for the home team and running late and starting early for the visitors. It was blatant and obvious.

Clock operator was the one who received the talking to. Not that it changed anything.

Beebe with its last chance of the year for a win at LR Fair. I am surprised they haven't dropped football. That program has been in the casket for a decade now. They have won 5 games since the 2008 season. They haven't had a winning season this century. Just throw some dirt on them LRSD and finish them off.

Hall, Fair, and Mills all need to close up shop and just focus on basketball.

I *think* Fair is being merged into the new Southwest Little Rock High School. Think McClellan is the other...

ETA Yes, Fair and McClellan.

Told y'all the scrappers would come out for blood.

48-10 scrappers lead at the half.

It's about time for the AAA to increase that multiplier and push PA up a classification.

Beebe gets its last win of the year.

Josh Price leads sugartown to a conference title and Drake Widener finishes second in the 2A-6 behind undefeated Hazen.

Both are Beebe alum and would do 10 times the job Shannon has done during his tenure.

Beebe's football program is quickly dying.

LR Central, Hall, Fair, Sylvan Hills, and Jacksonville all lost. Yikes.
