How much more fun do we need?

I love how stating that we're a poorly coached team draws so much hate.
How can anyone argue that we are well coached?

Quite easily.
Arkansas is second in the SEC in wins behind Kentucky over the last three years.
That means that Anderson is, in fact, a good coach.
Trying to argue otherwise is stupid.

That's a fair point. If Macon wasn't hitting pull-up 30 footers at the end then we wouldn't have won.
But I'll save my bellyaching for when we lose. Until then, that was a hell of a comeback that we desperately needed. I'm gonna enjoy it.

We take a huge amount of stupid shots. They just don't get the heat they deserve because they manage to go in at a decent rate.
If you watch the games it is plainly fricking obvious that this team could be something special. and a 1st or 2nd round NCAA loss isn't special.
Mike is a terrible coach. He's recruited well and has a good team on his hands, and is a great guy and I guess you could say motivator...sometimes. But if we had an actual coach that runs actual plays and does some sort of in-game coaching, we'd have about half the losses right now.
"Dribble around and jack a contested 3" is not a good game plan. We're just lucky to have a player or 2 that can hit those fairly often.

More than the defensive, rebounding, freethrow shooting woes we’ve had- the lack of actual plays or movement or whatever you want to call the stand still offense we play at times is by far the most frustrating to me.

Exactly. We won b/c of some ridiculously lucky plays last night.
Hell I bet the Hogs +1.5 so it's not like I wanted to lose, but we coached like shite, have terrible end game plays, foul and make poor decisions in crunch time.
Bottom line is this is what we are, a team that makes the tourney every couple years and loses to better coached teams

This is the part of the post that is stupid.
You have no way of knowing what will happen come March.
Let's wait and see what happens before we determine that the SECs second most winning coach is actually a bum? Nah, that's asking too much. We didn't like the way the team looked these past few games, and that means the guy sucks.

OK Ed, I have seen what you wrote, thought it over and laughed a bit.
I know you have to be trolling a little bit, right?
I mean, we are comparing the SEC's 2nd best coach against some fairly new competition in that department. Let's consider who all has been hired since MA has come to Arkansas and determine by trajectory, how those coaches will compare in the coming 2-5 years. I would venture that LSU, Miss State, Florida, and perhaps even Tenner will have a better coach, if.. IF the current trajectory continues.
And the sad part of that, I wrote that as a huge fan of MA as a man, and as a coach. With our talent, with our base of recruiting, with our facilities.. He needs to begin to do much better than the NCAA tourney every 2-3 years period.
We cant continue to settle. Now, for those who think we should be in the sweet 16 annually, get a grip. We are NOT what we once were and most likely will never be again.
ROTFL!

I’m not going to debate Mike Anderson’s coaching ability, but being the SEC’s second winningest coach is like being the second tallest midget. Up until this year, the SEC has been garbage and that’s not debatable
