So, observing the games today and our various future and past opponents... this is the sort of year that Houston Nutt gets one of those three year extensions.

A dream OOC schedule. Ole Miss is down. Moo State is down. A&M is mediocre. Kentucky lost their starting QB.

A Nutt team wins 8-9 games this year easy. We won't even mention what a Petrino, Hatfield, or Holtz team would do with this schedule.

This is what pains me the most. This would be a layup year in the past. We are instead, at this point, hoping to win another game or two.

I'm going to need to see a lot of improvement this year or I don't think I can buy into next year.

7-5, 3-5 in SEC.

He'd once again lose to Mizzou and A&M, on top of the usual losses to Bama and Auburn. Likely lose to LSU as well. Wins against all OOC plus the Mississippi schools and Kentucky.

And I say that as someone who wanted his arse gone after 2016.

This is why hiring bad coaches, especially 2 (or more) in a row, is worse than an NCAA scholarship reduction penalty.

Just look at us and Tennessee.

No the frick he wouldn’t

He would have Western Kentucky’s third teamer as his starter at QB, Whaley would be his starting RB, and god knows who he would have at receiver

Bielema started this mess. Just like Petrino, he wasn't getting the job done on the recruiting trail in his final years. Petrino could still win games with lesser talent, but I'm not sure that Bielema would have won anymore than Morris has.
