None of these are guaranteed for any school hiring so we should go high ceiling, high reward on whoever.

About Kiffin's ability to stick it out here...

I'm pretty sure that him tweeting that pic of himself in a Hog hat is significant. Now I'm not saying I think he'd be a career man here or anything, but I think he's more likely to stick it out here if he literally has himself as a hog fan in some of his oldest memories.

How old was he when his dad was here? Like 2?
Thats significant.

ETA:I think Kiffin is more likely to get canned for doing something outrageous off the field than he is to just up and leave.

8. A Pirate Looks at 60
9. Chad Morris

honestly all of those are better than Bert, Johnelle, Ford, Crowe, or Nutt.

he was here from 1-6 iirc. And we'll make him rich again and money goes far here. Also, Fayetteville is the best place to live in the SEC.

Lol

Have the Cross Church folks given up on putting Gus in up there and are now hoping for the next best thing?

This is supposed to be a thread for Head Coach. Not Athletic Director

I more worried that lane is going to act mature and turn us down to stay at fau for a little while, if that makes any sense.

I guess we are just gonna forget about Timmy Horton trying to sabotage Bielema here because he was butthurt.

Man, I'll be pretty upset if they give the job to Horton.

It will be one or the other and probably won’t take too long, so why bother? This is my point against Kiffin.

You forget that Tim Horton was almost the fricking interim after Petrino with an eye towards making it permanent.

The GOBN doesn't give a single flying frick about the school or if Arkansas is winning as long as their guy is in charge.

They only care about themselves and they're a god damn cancer on Arkansas athletics.

Hawgeye... Please tell me you are joking with us...

Horton? What in the actual....

If a single one of our BOT or High Rollers even considers Horton for a second, they should lose all future tickets to RRS forever.

Lane likes florida, the beaches etc.

But... I think he loves College Football much more. And he loves competing...

I remember him giving up with OC job he had for a week to come here and be a career RB coach.

That was 10 years ago and he has yet to advance his career past being the RB coach...

The timing should have been today or maybe tomorrow...his name will be rolled out by some media types to see what the reaction is.

I am out of state...so if you listen to any sports talk in NWA or LR you're going to hear his name pop up. You'll also here Rhett Lashlee(sp) as OC with him.

Well, with any luck the reaction will be hostile rejection.

I'm not saying you're wrong. I understand you're plugged in. I just totally reject this idea.

Unfortunately, I don't know if the general public would even understand what this means.

I wouldn't spend a penny on this program if that happened.
