We got our shite kicked in by North Texas last year and still played A&M close. Doesn’t seem any different than the trajectory we are on this year. I’ll believe in positive progress when we win games.
Exactly.
We've seen this movie before. TBD how it'll play out, but I don't believe one bit that this will equate to progress and wins until it actually happens.

He’s starting now because their first strong guy is hurt. He actually led them to a win against Troy yesterday which was pretty surprising to see.
I'm thinking you meant UAB. stAte beat Troy yesterday.
Regardless, UAB is no pushover.

Normally you can catch me defending coaches who I don't think deserve to be fired too early on here or the more sports board. But I can't lie 4-13 and 0-10 in conference play has me leaning heavy to pay the buy out and go and get Mike Norvell.

Bow season started.
Stl Cardinals are in the playoffs.
Dallas Cowboys are off to a strong start for a change.
Basketball is right around the corner and we have HOPE again.
I have about a dozen books stacked up ready to be read.
I've turned the page on Razorback football for the rest of this season. Too many other things that I can do and be happy and not waste my time letting this team make me miserable.

Obviously we care about each game and wins and losses but to be honest the individual game results dont matter at this point in my opinion. I've seen enough to know he isnt the guy. The sooner he is gone the better. I would have to see the hogs go on some Cinderella run of historic proportions to change my mind. I think I have a better chance of winning the Powerball than Chad turning this around.

How’s everyone feeling today?
I'm glad to see that fall weather is on its way. It's my favorite time of year.

I’m torn between hoping we do horrible (a la SJSU game) just to possibly get rid of him or actually wanting my team to do better this season. That’s a horrible spot for a fan.
This is exactly where I'm at...Misery loves company and all, I'm actually finding myself rooting for the losses because I know it will get Chazz canned faster.
It was the same with Bert in his final season. You know the losses will get him fired it seems like betraying your state.
Its just so apparent that he is in far, far over his head and has no answers.
Ho etsly though, if he loses to Western Kentucky, he needs to be shut canned JCP style on the field.
If they lose to Kentucky on 2 weeks, its over. They won't win an sec game again this year and there's simply no way you can keep him because your program will become even further damaged (don't know how that's possible, but we know it can happen.)
The only glimmer of redemption I could even see by keeping Chazz would be that he puts enough talent in place on the roster for another guy to come in Houston Nutt style and put fire into them and make a run.

The morning after
It's too late for the morning after pill to work on this abortion of a football program.
