I got arrested when I was 14 in Sonics parking lot.
I was hanging out with a fella named Josh Franklin from Batesville back in the day. His older "cousin" showed up one day and started staying at his house.
Dude and Josh picked me up one day and we went to Sonic. He was driving his second S-10 in 3 days at this point. (He said he had traded the first one for the second one) The guy said he wanted to show us his .243 rifle he got. It was behind the seat of this regular cab S-10. We all got out and he did the bolt action on the rifle and the damn thing went off.
I had powder burns on my front calf due to my legs proximity to the barrel. I'm pretty sure the bullet hit the Tahoe beside us. The Tahoe backed up and blocked us in. Swat showed up and threw us all on the ground and took us in. arse I was handcuffed in the back of the squad car I heard over the radio that everything the guy had was stolen. Both S-10's, the gun, fishing stuff.
This was in like 95-96 at the St Louis St. Sonic in Batesville.

If you were 14 in 95 you're close to my age. I graduated in 98 from Batesville.

Josh was like 3 years younger than me. I knew him because we were neighbors for a while out in Spring Valley.
