Martin really looks like he's struggling with trying to do too much. Going too fast fielding the ball and swinging foe the fences rather than just taking the ball where its pitched and using that insane speed of his.

It's all mental. He can't focus. He's going a million miles an hour and the game can't catch up to his speed.

Damn, chill out. It’s one damn weekend.

Martin is going to start riding the pine and probably will not crack the weekend lineup again until he can show in midweek games he can get it done.

Will be interesting to see if DVH moves Moore over to SS or Nesbit.

Good on Van Horn. Casey is batting terrible and has become an error machine. He has 33 AB and he's batting .182!!

It doesn't make any sense at this point.

At least this gives Martin a chance to be the comeback kid.

I hope it works.

You clearly didn't read. The majority of the issues I listed have persisted throughout the season. Again, there's nothing wrong with saying we're sloppy right now and have issues to fix. Acting like that is somehow unreasonable is ridiculous.

No, I read overreacting.

9 games out of 56 games have been played. Unlike everyone else in the nation, Arkansas hasn’t had any midweek games as of yet to work in younger players and pitchers. To get veterans extra at bats, etc.

Freaking out over mistakes early in the season and posting on the rant that this team is trash is retarded. Just two seasons ago Arkansas went and lost to Cal Poly and San Diego. Ended up playing for the national title that season. 2015 Arkansas swept the Shriners Classic and ended up with the shittiest of seasons under DVH at 26-29 overall.

But you do you.

Freaking out
Acknowledging that there are issues present isn't freaking out. It's making an observation on the current form of the team. Freaking out would be doing what LSU fans are doing and calling for the coach's head and conceding the season. Big difference.

That was definitely tongue in cheek. Not surprised that flew over your head too.

quote:

I'm not screaming from the rooftops that we're not gonna host a regional or that we need to fire everybody. What I'm saying is we aren't playing good baseball and there are issues that need addressed. I know this isn't the form we're going to be in all season. That doesn't mean we can't talk about the issues currently at hand.

Literally from one page ago.

But you keep on attacking that strawman, my guy. Not sure when this board turned into such sensitive pussies that we can't even bring up things we want to see improve without getting shouted down like we're calling for heads or saying the season's over but it's annoying. If you want an echo chamber, head to Hogville.

Damn. I didn’t think van horn would actually pull the trigger. Martin better get his shite together or he’s going to cost himself a lot of $$$.

He had the longest leash I've ever seen a kid have. I'm glad it finally happened for his sake. Might be what he needs to get his head on right.
