We're never as bad as it looks on tv or as good as we think we're gonna be.

Team hasn't quit, they're still playing. Recruiting needs to pick up to level of transfers to support the success we want.

We've had some really bad injury hits this year. I still see no reason we can't make a bowl game and be 6-6

6-6 feels reasonable at this point. I drank a bit of the koolaid preseason but the secondary losses are just too much for us to be a top half of the league team.

The shine has worn off of both coordinators so they will probably be back and we have a decent amount of young talent on this team that will cut their teeth this year.

Anybody thinking we get rid of Pittman, Odom or Briles needs to take a step back and realize where our program was and is right now. A position coach or two might "move on".

Back half of the schedule is much more manageable. Seems like next week against BYU will be the biggest game of the season. Win and go into the bye with momentum and anything is possible. Lose and it will be a struggle to get to a bowl.

I hope we are seeing a pattern emerge like Muss here. Win early, midseason struggle and finish strong.
