It's true, RA'ing does work now. I've RA'd in the past and nothing has happened, but in the last week I've seen it work almost immediately.
Plus the other day there was that shitty TD.com Top 25 poll in which they deliberately tried to get a rise out of Hog fans by ranking us behind Carolina. They were even bragging about the reactions they would get. Thread got deleted quickly. And I didn't even RA that one.
