quote:In a normal situation you could play it in the old Cotton Bowl and bring as many living players and coaches from the 1964 game. I'm not sure you'd want to do that now. But you could have some video packages and interviews set up to show leading up to the game.
I think Nebraska is a phenomenal matchup and that game would have a lot of draw and intrigue.

They haven't been able to score more than 7 points in their last 3 games (Northwestern, Indiana, and Iowa). Very good defenses, yes, but that's still not an excuse to average less than 7 PPG. They ain't beating anybody's arse at this point in their season...they're just trying to get this shite over with.
Bielema lack of recruiting has killed our depth. Wisconsin could bully us around right now. Just like Bama did Saturday.

They're 80th in the country in yards per carry. (We're 90th....4.0 vs 3.8) This ain't your typical Wisconsin team.

Tulsa would be a cheap and easy "bowl" game to throw together.
If we really wanted to do it on the cheap I'd say get UCA or UAPB up here to play. If only to watch the reaction of Ark. State to one of them getting to play us in football.
Get the extra practices and I am not ashamed to admit I'd cheerfully pick a bum of the week team to beat up on to end the season with a win.
