I wasn't aware of that. How did we get out of that? Is his Patriots salary is above $150k?

No, he didn't make any effort to find another HEAD coaching position. Lack of effort on his part cost him money.

As stated above, he wasn't searching for a head coaching position. Once he got moved from consultant type position to being on the staff this year at New England, his payments ended.
