True. But I was referring to teams within the American Athletic Conference.
I just don't have any faith in Morris being successful as Arkansas' head coach at this point. And I hope that changes but haven't yet seen any evidence that it may happen.

I'm with you. Our lives would be easier if it turned out that he was the guy for the job and we didn't have to go through all this mess again, but I'm not going to sit here and lie to myself and make excuses for him just because we're stuck with him for 3-5 years, so I might as well get used to it.
We have three G5 opponents on the schedule. One of them just lost to an FCS team, another is 0-1. Ole Miss lost to a G5 and looks as shitty as ever. Missouri lost to Wyoming. Kentucky and MSU looked stronger than us, but not untouchable. We have enough potential wins on this schedule to reach a Bowl and give some good momentum going forward. I'm really not as doom and gloom as I seem - I think this year could have positives and I'm actually kind of looking forward to the Ole Miss game. But this is literally as easy as it's ever going to get for him. We need to win at least one of Ole Miss, Missouri, Kentucky, and Mississippi State, and put away our crappy OoC opponents. He doesn't deserve the time of day if we look exactly like we did last year. Which, to no one's surprise, that's exactly how bad we look thus far while beating an FCS opponent by one TD.

Here’s the bottom line: most of you guys are soft, can’t handle losing so you cry like a bunch of children instead of acting like a reasonable adult, considering the situation and being patient He may not end up successful but this instant gratification/fire him after one season bullshite is fricking annoying. Grow up. Go Hogs.

That is some next level bullshite spin. Your ability to completely ignore context is quite impressive. But again: narrative.

Go back to Hogville with this shite.

What's my narrative? That Chad is in over his head? His record proves that, it's not a "narrative."

13 games, he has coached 13 games. Not to mention the roster (including 2 QB’s that’s couldnt win starting jobs in the SunBelt) he inherited or the 180 change in offensive style. But again, you are instant gratification millennial, win now or get lost. The 6 year olds I coach in tee ball handle losing better than you, hell you were in a fan draft thread Saturday saying you want to root for Auburn. please do, that way you can post on their board instead. Everyone here is tired of your crybaby bullshite, which is ironic because that’s why most of us left Hogville (I legit lol’d at your HV reference above bc of the irony)

Why are you acting like I'm the only one that's dissatisfied with Chad? Seems personal for you, for some reason. Dale, Feral, CFB_Fanatic, Mulerider, etc. are all saying the same thing. Do you have some kind of vendetta that I don't know about?

It was a joke since you've been on here complaining about Hogville for the past decade. Let it go!

At this point there is nothing else to do but let it play out.
We're so incredibly irrelevant it doesn't really matter. Living in Nashville and watching football around the city really hammers that home.
It's essentially like wearing a Mizzou or Pac12 shirt around these days, just pure after thought to all the other fanbases.
It is what it is, hopefully we surprise some folks and at least beat Ole Miss and UT next year at home.

Coming from a perpetually cynical and borderline obnoxiously negative fan, you're entering beyond broken record status.
He's going to get the full year and probably next year, what's the point of continually pounding your chest with the I told you so and I'm telling you so narrative?
Just quit watching closely and drink more beer/scope other fanbases woman. It's helped me tremendeously the last couple of years.
Attendance and his record will solve the problem regardless. If he goes 2 or 3 wins again and Ofer in the SEC, if Anderson was any indication, Hunter will cut ties and find someone else.
To many other poster's points, at least we have 2 fairly decent classes to work with and a bunch of dead weight cut out of the program.

You know who else got their HC gigs because of great showings as coordinators? Derek Dooley. Will Muschamp. Lane Kiffin. Kliff Kingsbury. Literally every single failed HC to have ever coached at the collegiate level got their shot by merit of doing a good job at the coordinator level. It's required.
What you didn't know that the Dabos, Sabans, Meyers of the worlds were birthed straight out of the womb into HC positions??

I've said repeatedly that I'll be happy to admit I was wrong if Chad turns this around.

He’s reached the point where he watches games actually hoping we lose so he can come onto this board and pound his chest. It’s pathetic really.
