She was involved in it. She didn't run the entire search.

Not sure why she's not a candidate for AD, but it seems like she said as much herself. I would think they have one lined up already with her speaking in absolutes like that, or she's informed them that she doesn't want it.
I wouldn't mind her taking the position, she seems a lot more candid and a lot less robotic than Long. I could see that sitting well with coaching candidates.

I would take her. I prefer the "I'll head the search to find the new head football coach" to waiting until we finally hire someone for the job. I don't think she gets the job but I would hope whoever does get it keeps her around.
Though they could be concerned that she'd stick an ice pick in their ear the first chance she gets. I would not owe money to her.

100% in agreement with the poster who said our next coach is already known. She seemed confident about leading the “search”. No way would someone who is an Interin AD for 10 days lead a high profile coach search. The coach is known and he details are being finalized I am sure.

She seems pretty damn confident about landing someone and from her tone of voice it won't take long. She wasn't farting around out there.
