Not every situation is the same, if they were then I guess the expectations for Chad would be to win the SEC and play for the national title since Gus did that at Auburn his first year.
DVH would be expected to play for a NC since half the SEC has done so since he has been here.

South Carolina had just come off of Darrin Horn's awful tenure and they hadn't won a tournament game since the 70s. Comparing that to Auburn's situation vs ours in football is disingenuous.

Your right, Chizik's last year was worse than Bert's, so Chad has a head start.
