It's amazing the fast turn around Muss has had with the program.

We went from just hoping to make the tournament a few years ago to brainstorming natty-winning roster changes.

He just got us on everyone's radar on a national level. People can see he has the Xs and Os, just not the Jimmies and Joes...yet.

Listing players who do not contribute is very, very misleading.

7’3” on the last two listed is a waste is space.

1990 roster only had two guys 6’9” in Oliver Miller and rarely used/played Shawn Davis.

Charles Barkley picked us to win vs Duke based on Muss. We are trending the right way nationally for sure

This should be a thank you Lykes thread instead of dogging him. For all his bad shots we never would have made it as far as we did without his clutch end of game FT shooting. He was an important piece of this years team. GL to him in the future.

I would have commented sooner, darn internet went belly up... again... but that was just not our night. They were hitting contested shots, we were missing open ones. I'm impressed we kept it as close as it wound up being to be honest.

We pulled an Elite 8 appearance in a year where a lot of us thought we'd be a bubble team at best. I'll take it.

That Duke team would beat Arkansas 8/10 times they played.

Yes it is misleading but it just shows that this current team is on average shorter than the more successful teams. Muss has done a good job with the team that is undersized and lacked depth compared to the teams that made the final four.

Most likely. We needed to be red hot and needed them to be off. They were on and we were only hot at the beginning.

The biggest things that killed us was Duke's speed and rebounding. Seemed like they could penetrate and rebound at will.

I think it definitely was the dagger, but we weren't going to beat them and the refs when they were hitting every shot.

Happy we made it here, ready to have the most talent now and see what we can do.

Mark Williams had a double double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. He also went 6-6 from the field. Paolo Banchero had 16 points and 7 rebounds.

Jaylin held his own being on an island by himself but I believe it would help if he had another 6-9/6-10 helping him in the paint. Williams and Banchero combined for 19 rebounds while the starting five for Arkansas only had 21 rebounds.

The fouls were even at both 15-15.
