I think mitchell was underrated and Winston was overrated. if you flip their rankings then I have no problem. Winston is still fast athletic tall and showed flashes of knowing what the frick he was doing . I think he had a shitty attitude during the WR years and by last offseason it was far to late for him to catch up.

I think if he had the talent, the past staff would have made sure he saw the field as the numbers where to the point the staff needed him on the field if he truly was a 5* talent to help them find a job the following season, especially with Mitchell being hurt leaving us with a true freshmen and walk-on starting for the majority of the season...
I remember when his uncle was posting on HV and looking for his weekly HV circle jerk, he was posting about one game in which the opponent was "too scared" to throw DW's way his senior year, the mods kept deleting posts, which was odd, and I caught one where a guy posted the the stats that the team he played passed the ball like 5 times and was like 2/5 for 15 yards which was odd, so doing some digging, the team ran the fricking wishbone...

Years of bad habits aren't easily over come. Haynes made huge progress with the freshmen by the end of the year.

I'm convinced that DW is an NFL caliber free saftey.
put 10 pounds on him, let him play with his face to the QB at all times.. shite he can't go wrong. he can cover. he just can't play corner. but let him play cover 2 zone and i think he would be really good

I've said this before, but I'm gonna say it again. I'm stoked that pretty much all the guys on the staff were D-linemen. Big nasty hog mollies that just brutalize people.
I'm sick of having primadonna ex-QB's run our program. I think we'll be getting back to smash mouth 'frick a ----- up' football. I'm back to being at a high excitement level, next year will be brutal but fun with a highly competitive schedule. Things should be really nice here in a couple seasons.

didn't realize it till i read it now. believe your spot on the money, and even more reason to get excited about this staff. what position a coach played in college/high school determines a lot in how he coaches. frick that ex-qb primadonna bullshite. glad we're heading in the direction we are...

Huh? Haynes? he took the Kent St. job. Do you mean Taver Johnson? If so, that's a great coach to keep.
