DVH obviously knows more than I do, but I'm a bit concerned about the number of innings we're asking Kopps to eat on a regular basis.
Just feels like our pitching strategy has devolved a bit into hoping our starter goes 5, biting our fingernails through 3-6 outs with a reliever or two, and trotting Kopps out for the 8th and 9th (and that's not when we're asking him to pitch 3).
I'm concerned that if this continues into the postseason that we might blow Kopps on long relief one night and not have him for a critical close save situation the next.
