This might sound bad I'm surprised she can even afford an attorney.
There are a lot of attorneys that would jump at the chance to rep her just for the publicity and the $ it would generate. They would hold a presser and get paid just for that alone. Would be on every news channel. Do interviews, etc. She's cashing in. Pathetic.

@BFeldmanCBS: Per the release, the firm hired by Alex Collins' mom was founded 40+ years ago by famed attorney Johnnie Cochran, Jr.

Maybe ESPN? They were the first to report that she had confiscated the LOI

probably no one to sue unless she thinks the coach/guardian is giving him bad advice... in which case she should not have a leg to stand on considering she must have been incompetent in some way to relenquish guardianship in the first place.

She wouldn't actually sue anyone. She would just hire an attorney and then he would negotiate interviews etc. for a fee of course for her to tell her side of the story and then she at least gets paid something.

that makes sense- maybe she wants a reality show out of this or something- the real birth moms of athletes.

I'm just getting a break at work, wt unholy shite is going on with this?
You know, if I was Collins I'd get an attorney and Sue 'mom' for mental anguish.

Immediately starting looking for that picture as soon as I say Johnnie Cochran's name.

She could sue an ESPN or another news outlet for reporting false info or bad stories about her that were untrue if they have, but I don't think any of those will really go anywhere.

CheshireHog just reported that someone tweeted a pic of them setting up at the sports bar...maybe it's finally over...
