Obviously, it means more than money to Pittman.

Probably won’t translate to wins, at least not early, but this job means more than money to our new coach. Makes you hope for success even more. I’m in.

Steve Cox said while the other candidates wanted to talk about what was wrong with the program and what they wanted to fix it, Pittman pointed out what was right and said he’d take what ever they gave him to win.

Dude seems genuine and Hog to the core, his players respect him. Hope it works out well for him here.

Dude getting his shot after a long career. Position coaches dont get that shot often. It's where he wanted to retire. Seems like he is gonna love that helmet boys.

He could get us back to Nutt level success.

Not gonna lie. I was eating a spicy chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-a during the PC. My nose got runny and my eyes watered a bit.

Is that a good thing?

Sounds a little terrifying.

Your thinking too deep....

What they wanted to fix it means, $$$$$

Pittman saw what he could use, and was willing to take $$ to make it work, work on it...

Happy to translate for ya...

I thought his presser was great. I like the dude. I had no idea he held this area in such high regard. Sounds like a lifelong Hog fan. And at the risk of sounding like a coonass, he "sounds like one of us." Measured with his words, but tells ya what he really thinks. I know a lot of folks who sound just like him.

I like Pittman a lot and I hope he's met with great success.

I noticed he is basically saying that we are going to run RPO for now and gradually shift over to more of what he would like to see. I like the sound of that considering the talent we do have on roster. Hopefully we are looking at a shorter turnaround than we have had the last two cycles now.

It'll translate to more than 2 with mediocre coaching and motivation.
