Hubby's birthday is this weekend, so we need a restaurant in NWA for us and another couple Friday night. Anywhere from $$-$$$$ type place, good wine list. We've been to James at the Mill - hoping for some place different.

Appreciate any suggestions!

See page 2 for full review!

Vetro 1945 is supposed to be good. The year maybe inaccurate as I don't go to these types of places often but it is something like that and got good reviews. Bordinos or does are also delicious

Closer to Fayetteville is preferable.

ETA: He just said he also wants a place where he would feel comfortable in a nice button down shirt and jeans.

Vitro's is excellent. The food is amazing. Went with another couple and everyones food/desserts were great. I'd recommend that. Mermaids and Bordinos are great too.

It's Vetro 1925, but it's the real deal. Since it's your husband's b-day you should treat him to the rack of New Zealand Elk. He will feel like Fred Flintstone. The Ceaser salad has capers in it btw, but it's bomb diggity. The wine selection is great. Be sure to make res in advance. It's not a large place and fills up quick. Great atmosphere. It's off the square.

If you can't make it there, go to

Bordinos
36 club
Theos

Can't go wrong with any of those.

36 club closed, it's now called Fire and ICe, it's good though.

Aqua Fire

Seriously though 28 Springs in Siloam is suppossed to be good and a different place to go.

LINK

I've only heard good things from everyone who's went. Chef is from James at the Mill

Will do!

I read that the chef used to work at Capeo, which is one of my favorite restaurants in Central AR, so I have high expectations!

I'll let you know if we're in a position to take you up on that! No idea what our plans are outside of dinner and the game!
