This isn't as chaotic as the media is making out. We aren't waiting for Gus with no back up plan. It's just that our back up plans are playing Saturday also.
The media is being fed false information and their sources are not in the same pecking order as they were before Long was fired.
I'm willing to bet we will have a hire in place by Sunday night. Either Gus or Norvell. I would like for it to be Kiffin though.

This is what I believe and seems to make sense. If we don't have anyone by Monday I think it is time to panic.

Maybe it's not. Maybe the decision makers are waiting for championship weekend to play out. Just because everyone else has a date to the prom doesn't mean we need to go grab the first whore we see.

I very rarely respond with the seriousness that I am about to respond with. But here she goes. I am proud for you and of you that you were able to attend the UofA. Being from NE Arkansas, I didn't know the UofA existed until I was in my teens. I didn't have the ability or the means to attend there. I was older when I finally could afford a degree and chose a private university in another state. I have three degrees (which as for fandom doesn't mean a damn thing) from there. I am a Hog fan through and through. I also give to the University, donate, purchase tickets, attend club meetings, and volunteer quite a bit as well. And none of that crap really matters to me as who should be considered a fan, and who shouldn't.
If you purchase Razorback gear, sit on the edge of the seat either at the game, or at home watching our beloved hogs. You are a fan. When we classify one group over another, we are divided. My friend, I hope you were responding in a bit of anger rather than putting down other fans who are "Not a real fan like you". Because if you mean it the way I took it. Then go ahead and be a douchebag if you wish!

It seems the Arkansas coaching job is Gus' to turn down. One thing the UA needs to keep in mind, Gus wants to win a National Championship and he'll expect all the resources necessary. There may be more folks in Arkansas watching the SEC Championship game than Alabama.
