Would not call that a loss. Finding a younger coach may be the proper approach. She kind of was mediocre at Tennessee, which is why they sent her packing.

Yeah, I know exactly jack squat about WBB, but Harper's resume looked pretty mediocre. 285-208 before being hired at Tennessee, so she hasn't exactly set the world on fire at any stop she's been at.

I think if they strike out on the Grand Canyon coach, just go up the road to Springfield and get Beth Cunningham. She has won 20+ games all three years at Missouri State and won their regular season title this year. She is 235-135 overall and has gone 68-30 at Missouri State.

Let us be honest, we need to roll the dice on someone with a good resume but who hasn't coached at top level schools. That is a pretty darn good resume. Beg one of the Waltons for their pocket change to give a new coach something vaguely resembling NIL money.
Nobody comes to watch the Lady Razorbacks play, but maybe if we didn't stink on ice that might change.

Cunningham would fit that mold. She’s 49, so has plenty of tread left. With their recruiting budget, she’s used to recruiting locally/regionally.

Which would be ironic considering Miller is from Springfield.

I’d venture a guess it’s a regional coach…Cunningham or Nelp. I clicked the link but it said Neighbors was fired. Guessing it just does that for people who don’t pay?
