These are the only good seasons we've had in the past 20 years. Not sure what a "legit threat at college football" even means.

I'd contended we've had "good" seasons outside of that. 2007, 2009 and 2015 were overall great but they had their fun parts. Maybe threat was the wrong word to use. We have had magic on the field is what I should have said. Loads more than our bball program over the last 20 years. Again, in 8 years he has missed the tourney 5 times. In the other 3 he has been out the 1st weekend. That is pathetic and you know it. and yes I am counting this year in that. This season is over.

So you learned that the claim does, in fact, have basis in reality, and you ignore it.

Not sure how far he is ahead over the 6 year span but he could slip to 3rd this year.

You probably recognize UCF as the nation's best team 2 years running.

He could easily be passed up by Florida I think this season. Wouldn't surprise me a bit.

But I also expect this team will finish pretty strong.

Real math: Arkansas is behind Florida in total wins and SEC wins over the last 6 years.

This is fake news.

We have a very legitimate possibility of losing the next 4 games. We likely go 2-4 in the next 6 games. You're delusion at this point is reaching the level of trolling. I almost think you are saying things at this point to get a rise. And it's working with me.

Could be, I'm up to date on the 4 year span but not the 6 year span. He might be getting those confused. The four year span he is still 2nd but most likely won't by the end of the year and if things really go bad could be 4th.

I don't know why on Earth you would think I made that comment to troll anyone. Mike Anderson's teams have roared down the back stretch of the conference schedule like every damn year he has been here.

I go into each season expecting it at this point. Don't know why anyone else wouldn't

If you want to post overall records then be my guest. Add this season as well. I cannot imagine Mike having a commanding lead and after this disaster of a 15 win season we are about to have he may be 6th for all I know. Not to mention it is a completely meaningless stat when several other SEC teams have been to the sweet 16, elite 8 and final 4 in that same period.

losing 4 homes games to 4 mediocre squads doesn't have you convinced? Give it time.

Not when I've been saying for weeks now that this team will play better on the road than at home early in the season.

I knew this but I was actually curious about what the numbers were so I looked it up.

Mike Anderson

Record in the 1st half of SEC play: 32-30 (51.6%)

Record in the 2nd half of SEC play: 38-24 (61.3%)

Things to note

-We have started 1-3 the last two previous years to start SEC play

-Mike has never had a losing SEC record in the back nine except for his first year (Was exactly back 8 because we only played 16 conference games this year).

-Mike's best record in a either 9 game stretch was 7-2 and happened twice in the back nine.

- In the first half of SEC play, Mike has only had a winning conference record three times and twice it was 6-3.

If you want to see the 4 year span, go to the "Where's the Mike Anderson Haters?" thread. UH posted a good graph on the second to last page. I think Ed made a mistake on the 6 year thing. It also highlights that we are 4th or 5th in tournament wins.
