can someone remind me what the rumors of other big non-conference games were? Oklahoma, OSU? Would love to see another big home and home replace this

Well damn. Was planning on going to the game in AA so I could scratch the Big House off my bucket list.
$2 mil does seem pretty cheap to back out of the deal.

I went and looked through FBS Schedules last night and almost all the schools I looked at were already booked on opening weekend. I did find that Kansas has that week open in both '18 and '19 so they're definitely a possibility.

Wisconsin could make sense unless they are adamant about keeping Western Kentucky, New Mexico, BYU, Central Michigan, USF and North Texas as non conference opponents in 18-19

With the Big Ten moving to a 9 game conference schedule now, I would bet they are.

I would take that win, instead of a loss to Michigan

Sounds like big bad Harbaugh is scared of playing the SEC
ND is an easy win for them. White boy football. They are scared of the SEC
Harbaugh talks shite but now he turned tail and ran. What a gigantic pussy. This bullshite scheduling change will be the first and only thing I discuss involving Michigan football from here on out

Pretty sure Baylor was tossed around but probably not now
I wouldn't mind playing Oklahoma State but they're probably all booked already

Someone posted a list of P5 teams that still have an open spot for 2018/19:
Boston College, Duke, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Miami (FL), North Carolina, Pittsburgh, West Virginia, Michigan State, or Northwestern.
TCU and Louisville do too but obviously we're already playing TCU and aren't scheduling Louisville right now lol

They left off Kansas and all of those schools are already playing P5 schools in 2018/2019. Just because they have an opening doesn't mean they want to kill themselves.
It seems the SEC threw us a lifeline today and basically said we could schedule someone who wasn't a P5. That seems the easiest route at this point unless we can find a couple P5 schools wanting to do just a one off game.

We should ink a deal with Kansas just to tick off Missouri. The Tigers have done everything but kidnap the Kansas AD to try to get the Jayhawks back on their schedule.

“I got tremendous respect for Jim. I know there’s a lot of people like to throw darts at Michigan, all that’s going on right now,” Bielema said. ‘I love a guy that speaks his mind, as you can tell from knowing me. I love the way he coaches the game. I know several people that know him. I know his father and his brother are halfway decent. I understand they have to do what they have to do, but it was one of those — it was tough to go away.”
Bielema pussed out big time. What a bullshite political answer. Where are all the people who say bielema doesn't "coachspeak"
Stand up for your program. I expect more

this is dumb, thought you were a little more intelligent.
Maybe you are drunk or didn't hear Bert correctly.

That doesn't sound like coach speak at all. I think you were just expecting more because you're upset over it.
