per Yurachek Twitter. Steve Shaw of the NCAA rules committee said they have reviewed the play and targeting should not have been called. Therefore, they have dropped his suspension for the first half of Game 1 next year.

I'm surprised a suspension would carry over to next year. Seems dumb

how does Quincey get his minutes in that game back?

How convenient for everyone except Arkansas. If that had caused us the lose the game, the NCAA would have said nothing

the NCAA was not attempting to cheat us, but...

the Pac 12 crew WAS attempting to cheat us

and the NCAA will have their back and not have them suspended

Imagine if you had big money bet on the game and that targeting call was what lost it

Look at Pittman. Based on his contract, winning the bowl got him a 150k bonus and a 250k/year raise.

That botched call could have cost him a million dollars.

Blowing double digit leads should cost him money. If we beat a team by 1 and it’s close all game, I never called for his job, unless it’s Liberty/Missouri State.

If we are doing incentive based contracts let’s go all in. You lose to a team you are favored in, you don’t get paid. You don’t beat the spread, you don’t get a bonus.

Tired of being up 3 touchdowns and squeaking out 1 point victories. Especially when it’s all self inflicted wounds from not continuing to play because you are good guy Sam who doesn’t want to embarrass the other coach. The other coach should be embarrassed for not preparing his team.

So let’s suspend the refs for a game instead since they absolutely suck arse.

Right? It’d be nice if they had to face consequences for their shitty calls like the players and teams do.
