Boy, did we take an arse whipping last night to a poor Houston squad.
Mike needs to get this shite under control asap. Good teams don't lose to Houston by nearly 30, period.

Yeah not a good look, I didn’t have the op to watch much of it and I’m not going to watch if off the dvr for sure now but dang we are a good team, what happened???

Agree.
Too many guards who think they're scorers and ball killers. In both losses this season the lack of a floor general has been the difference IMO.

Teams with good pressure man defense completely rattle us. Someone needs to be able to win one on one battles off the dribble, just to keep the ball moving. Can't run the offense standing 30 feet from the basket

Sometimes shite like that happens playing basketball. Houston was sinking shots all night long and Arkansas shot like 25% from the field. Just a bad game for us all around. First true road test. Team will be okay I think.

I still think we could be. The season is very young yet. They will get stronger as the season goes on. They're gonna be alright.

Houston was especially hyped up last night for some reason. They just out played us.

It happens playing basketball. I don't see it as a poor reflection on our Hogs necessarily. Sometimes you just run into a buzzsaw. This isn't football. A basketball team isn't going to win every game they play. They'll have nights where they're just totally off for whatever reason. If the other team hits a stride at the same time you're looking at an ugly loss.

It happens in basketball. Its why some of us were all for pumping the brakes at the beginning of the season. Now this team can do very well this year and even make a run in the NCAAT if we get hot... but we aren't at the top of the mountain yet.
Do well this year, keep rebuilding the program back to where it used to be.
