Beat La Tech this weekend by about 20....Looks like he'll finish the season at 9-3 (FAU last year was 3-9) if he beats....wait for it...Butch Davis and FIU next week.....they're the toughest remaining game.

Over on the coaching changes board I read that Butch Davis was rumored to be the next AD by Christmas (obviously a statement with no validity, but at least it's fun to think about)

Just think if Butch was running the show and he hired Kiffin....damn would we get some coverage from the sites and networks...an ddamn would it be fun....but it could also be an absolute fricking shite show disaster....but I bet we'd win a hell of a lot more games and have a hell of a lot more talent in the team...

At this point I'm pretty sure that if they made me HC, and I selected my staff from guys in my fantasy league I could at least get similar results.

I just feel like Kiffen would very good here. Especially now that he has Kendal Briles as his OC. It probably won’t happen but I’d love to see it.

I don't think Lane will happen, but I would love to see it. The only way we will compete is to get past our recruiting hurdle. He is one of the few guys I think could instantly help us in that department.

Kiffen's history is either do vaguely well and then immediately run at the first opportunity, or be the drizzling poo and get fired.

Yes, he has a gaudy 7-3 record but the two good teams he's played have beaten him like a drum. Only two of those 7 wins are against teams with a winning record and both of those teams have also been thumped badly by any good team they've played. Conference USA is having, even by their standards, a down year.

A win over La Tech, for example, isn't as impressive as it sounds. Yes, they played USC close in that one game, but other then that they've stunk on ice this season.
