Sorry, I'm not going to grab my pitchfork and fire on a stick thing and join you in your melt, after every loss.
I will discuss why they lost, but you want none of that because the game isn't being played the way you think it should be played, so your narrow mindedness or general lack of understanding of the game doesn't allow you to see where the team failed or succeeded in their game plan to win a game.

Completely ignore offense. Our defense is terrible. You don't even need talent to be a great defensive team, within reason. But Mike does nothing to take the pressure OFF of the D. He preaches ball pressure on guards 30+ feet from the basket. Guard beats the first defender, defense collapses, opposition gets wide open shot. Rinse & repeat. This has been an obvious takeaway from the last 2 games. I'd be more encouraged about our coach if he could see how stupid of a strategy this is, particularly in college basketball.
again, this is madden 100%
there was a series in the 2nd half where Durham guarded the point for clemson the entire way down court and moved his feet, stayed in front of him the entire way down court like you are supposed to, got called for a tick tack BS foul but he was playing great on the ball defense. l
on the contrary, this is what madden does. watch any particular play. the man gets the ball madden gets beat, and then is riding his arse the entire way down court.
i dearly wish madden would have went to ole miss. that entire class.. are you aware that madden will be the first 4 year player at Arkansas to never go to the NCAAT? it's looking like that.

Madden's line: 31 mins, 0 points, 0-3 from field (all 3 pt misses), 5 turnovers, 3 personal fouls.

I'm not sure that is an accurate stat unless you count their red shirt year.

I don't think anyone is trying to argue Madden had a great game...

Where were you after the ISU game? You weren't in the post game thread. Why should I listen to you in this one? Had you bothered to show up, I listed quite a few things that any objective person would call basketball centric. If they could take coaches dick out of their mouths long enough.

I didn't melt after ISU. Your false narrative is falling apart. And pointing out OBVIOUS frickING NEGATIVES THAT A MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRL'S BASKETBALL COACH COULD SEE =/= melt. Words have meanings.

Please tell me more how we don't have plays, basketball genius. "Dale, everything I learned about basketball I learned from cousin Mike, Denton."

I'd LOVE to compare my job to yours, though.

Loud noises and angry words don't mean much.
Lets list some items that I've already brought up in the last week:
Shitty half court defense - guarding college guards 30+ feet from the basket with high pressure is fricking retarded. There are a handful of college players that are efficient at hitting pull up 3's. If you can't acknowledge this aspect of our last 2 games, you can just shut the frick up about the rest of it.
Shitty screens. Pretty obvious, but our screens look lazy as frick. We don't rub off of screens like a team that attempts to practice such a thing.
Rotations. Alandise Harris contines to play massive minutes and give us a big bag of stupid. Moses Kingsley, who is our 2nd best big, is relegated to role player. He's probably one of our top 3 players and he barely touches the floor. He's got great feet and can score in the post, but he never gets opportunities.

Tell Bob Knight his career was a sham because he didn't have plays.
Here's the funny thing. MIKE HAS PLAYS. But if you're trying to pretend that "play" isn't wholly synonymous with "sets," then fine. Be a little bitch. Someone just needs to tell Madden to stop calling plays as he comes up the court. He must be confused.

I get it, you're always busy during and after wins, but have plenty of free time during and after losses.

Every coach has plays, you think you can only win with sets, which isn't true.
To illustrate, all I have to do is point to this game, Mike Anderson is coaching and being paid well do so, the Set Play master mind Arkansas had is being paid decently by ESPN to comment about the game.

Not that I have to defend my opinion based on ATTENDANCE, Principal Denton, but I watch about 75+ Mavericks games every year. If the Hogs win, I've other things to keep my attention span.
Of course, over the past 3 weeks I've moved cross-country, bought a house, bought a car (didn't need one in NYC), and started a new job. I had nothing going on, though, so I should have been in every game thread so that I would have had sufficient stature to be worthy of an opinion.

Ladies and gentelmen, the only 2 college coaches ever.

It is nice of you to take time out of a busy schedule like that to express your frustrations and anger after losses.

It sums up your complaints, I could expound on each, some of which I agree with, others that you have obviously missed, while disproving other complaints with actual data that shows you are of the wrong opinion in the matter, but it would be a waste of time.
You can't comprehend that what "could be done" doesn't matter, running ISOs and 3 man sets, doesn't matter, that isn't what is being taught, and isn't how this team is going to play.

What?
This is where you go on some spiel about some NBA coach no one gives a frick about and his NBA team against other NBA teams how that is how the game is suppose to be played.

The expections change the longer a coach stays in place at one school. Of course in year four we think we should beat a very average Clemson team on the road. Bottom line is that we still struggle heavily on the road though

THANK YOU. I KNEW you agreed with some of them because you obviously know the game. I'm not going to pretend you don't. But wouldn't it be easier to just say, from the beginning, "we need to adjust the half court defense, but that's an easy fix." Anything remotely conceding problems with the program thru December 7th? I have a few issues with the way Bielema runs the football program, but that doesn't mean I have an agenda or want him out just so someone I like gets the job or anything.

That's a bit self-serving. "I was raped, but I'm not going to tell the police, but believe me I was raped." I mean...okay? I'm wrong, but you won't tell me why? Once again - convenient. I'd be more inclined to believe you're blowing smoke and playing the mystery card.

Honestly, you bring up offense? What have my complaints about offense entailed? Screens? I've actually acknowledged that, until recently, we've looked much better on offense. I had been pretty impressed with our willingness to share the ball and what looked like an improvement in basketball IQ.

The easiest fix on defense is to quit allowing them to switch on screens, but the next gripe will be the results of doing so.
Instead of bitching about it happening, give credit to the opposing teams who have been able to use this to tier advantage via the mismatches the create.

Look at the stat sheets, do some simple math, rotation starts to be come more clear.
I get it a few of the players are like lightening rods for the fanbase, I see this here, on other boards, and on social media, their one mistake in a game is remembered, their several other contributions are ignored or forgotten.

You mention screen, but fail to notice it doesn't matter how good or bad a screen is if the spacing is so poor it allows help off the screen with no back cuts to take advantage. You can coach that all you want, its a mental break down in the game, it doesn't always occur, but again people remember the negative after a loss more so than the positive plays which are forgotten.
