Let me clarify, this doesn't mean Gus is out. He's still the top target and his intentions should be known this week some time. His offer is out there and he knows we're evaluating other targets, pending his decision and understands that.

He took the Head Coaching Job at FAU. Saban thought him assembling a staff while prepping for the playoffs were a distraction and they parted ways.
But Kiffin was not fired and he left Bama to be a head coach.

Do you really believe that he is even considering it as of now? I don't think there is a way in.........
But, this is the only way I would be on board. He gets major momentum and then comes here with recruits knowing that he experienced recent major success.
