It’s going to be up to the real boosters

I think if it were up to them we would end up with Butch Davis.

I think Long will have a lot of say in the next hire, but doubtful he has the freedom to make the decision on his own.

I'd prefer we end up with a coach that statistically has more than 15 years left to live.

That would be an absolute abortion of a hire IMO. The guy is a retread with zero 10 win seasons in 13 years of coaching.

If he can't build East Carolina, La Tech, or South Florida into a 10 win team in a piss-ant conference, he sure ain't doing it here.

Might as well go out and see if Nutt would like to come back to coaching.
