People are wallowing in misery like we just got left at the altar too much to realize that all we lost was a potential bride with a rapid recent gain in weight and an issue kicking a drug habit. Not good wifey material in the first place.

This would be more tolerable if it seemed like we had a solid backup plan.

Let's hire someone first before burning the house down.

It's 2:51 on Sunday and there's basically nothing come out except that we're battling Mizzou for Drink and rumors about Pittman. I think giving them the benefit of the doubt has long since passed.

Would already be a better hire than Kiffin, IMO.

The only thing about Pittman potential that I like is that the recruiting would get better under him and have a decent amount of talent on hand for rhe following coach if his experiment didn't work.

The recruiting would lessen the bleeding and as long as the PTB open up the wallets to get some a top notch OC and DC and he has to promise not to bring Jim Chaney. LOL.

Not even just the recruiting, but you KNOW without a shadow of a doubt that with Pittman on staff, you're going to be good in the trenches. That's so vitally important and one of the main reasons any team that has him wins more. I'd trust him to delegate aspects like the passing game to other SEC caliber coordinators. I was onboard with the idea as soon as it was pitched.
