I don't see it. Nutt was loathed by a majority of the fan base. Pittman is likable, but it is off putting how offended and huffy he gets at questions by the media in regards to the team's short comings.

I’ve been off since Ole Miss last year… he did exactly what he has all year long, let the clock run with no urgency. He did the Houston Nutt thing, run the play 3 times in a row, and playing not to lose instead of trying to win.
