I had him drafted in 5-7 rounds.
I thought with Enos it would improve to 3-4 rounds.
But if this season turns bad, he may not get drafted at all.

You can't keep Odom around considering how bad that defense was last year.

You can’t keep Odom around because he sucked as a recruiter. We made up for a lack of talent with a lack of depth. Defense was bad because it had been decimated. Think how bad the offense was without KJ. Imagine no KJ, Haselwood or Rocket most of the season. That was our defense.

I feel worse for KJ out of all this. Briles would've hid his flaws enough to get him drafted, probably in the mid rounds. Not sure that happens now
It will only happen if he agrees to play another position. The number one thing the NFL wants is accuracy. KJ doesn't have that.

Crazy to me that there was ever a time where people were actually considering whether or not he is better than Mallett. It was never close.

The problem is his talent is being wasted in a system that doesn't suit his strengths. Makes as much sense as asking a pro-style qb to run the ball.

Mallett would get sacked several times a game behind this OL.
He is a better QB if he had good protection but if both played on the same team with a good offensive line with pass protection then Mallett would win the job.

The line's not great but it's also compounded by KJ taking forever to make decisions. Mallett wouldn't just sit back there waiting to be stripped for 2-3 seconds after he completes his dropback before letting go of the ball.

KJ isn't a drop back passer. The longer he stays in the pocket, the lower his accuracy.
He is similar to Dak when he is on the run, he is more accurate.
It seems Enos doesn't want KJ to run much and be more patient in the pocket but that isn't his strength.

Sam used the excuse that kj was banged up some against byu. I thought the whole point to bringing in criswell was if kj is banged up we have a serviceable backup who can go in? Either he’s too hurt to run and throw accurately , in which case too hurt to play, or he’s not.

Since KJ is a senior he'll play every snap that he's physically able, Sam will see to that.

Perhaps antiquated was too generous
