A&m joining the league fricking killed Arkansas's texas recruiting. In the SWC we were the only school outside of texas. It made refs hate us (and we got jew'd many times because of it) but kids that wanted to leave state, but play back in state in front of family, and friends. Also against friends, and against schools that over looked them. WE WERE THE CHOICE!. Gay N Him was always the shitty texas who offered nothing more than them, but we had more to offer. So we were better. then we go to the SEC. We now offer kids to play in what would be considered a better conference directly after realignment. Still have tons of RECENT history in that state. Then comes along Gay N Him to the SEC. They now offer everything but history as Texas, but offer instate kids the chance to play against the best of the fricking best. Our elite coach (at the time. No longer is elite) gets fired, and we no longer have an advantage over them in recent history. They would rather stay in state and play against better competition than go out of state to a team that just hired a dude who talks shite about their state, and brand of football. Also there is LSU who is just as close as us, AND IS WAYY BETTER! LSU WAS GARBO BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T GET THEIR BEST TALENT IN STATE FOR ALL OF THOSE YEARS! SABAN CHANGED THAT!

Gay N Him joining the SEC turned them into what should have been a power house, but they were, and still are Aggie. They could frick up a good sheep fricking session. Arkansas now offers JACK shite IN EITHER LEAGUE!

Arkansas will compete the same in either league by only one means, having an elite coach. There are very few out there. We either have to get lucky, or be willing to get a little dirty to get said coach.

If Arkansas doesn't hire a competent coach, it's not going to matter where we recruit. The best players are not going to want to play for a poorly coached team.

I hear ya. I rarely visit that site so I can't really say what goes on over there. I just try to remain somewhat placid and stay on an even keel.
