Mike would probably be successful if he'd clean house and hire some actual real life assistant coaches.

Thomas shows how bad they are at taking transfers. Not only cost a value contributing roster spot for a whole season as they sit on the bench redshirting but then with Thomas the numerous character issues to get kicked off as a senior.

All I’m saying is we’ve wasted some years of great players by what we’ve surrounded them with on the rest of roster. Mike needs to get the players for his system and through seven years he hasn’t been close to doing it. When will he?
If Gafford leaves the roster won’t have a top 50 player on it. Our best would be Garland and Henderson who are the only two inside or around the top 100 because of ESPN rankings. Otherwise the rest are 100+ with 9 150+.

I understand what you're saying. I'm disputing yet another shoot from the hip ARHog post.
You can't look at the players that he pulled and say that he doesn't value those positions.
I agree that many didn't work out, which has nothing to do with whether the position is valued.

I'd argue the emphasis on guard depth has been an issue.
We could have used 2 more guards with the athletic ability of Macon and Barford.
Having Garland not eligible and relying so much on Beard the last two years really hurt us.
It's like Mike went out and got the shorter, slower, less length version of Ky Madden all over again.
Having Manny Watkins leave a huge hole in year 7 is a BIG problme.
