Cliff's notes:
- there are a ton of parallels to our 2015 start, and this game had a lot of similarities to Toledo
- OL is bad, we can't throw down the field because of it, and if it doesn't turn around the season is going to be a disaster
- we probably should've paid Briles
- Enos has largely been mediocre to bad in his stints as OC
- it might be time to move on from Pittman

Enos lack of RPOs definitely doesn't help. And the article mentioning "long developing pass concepts" that require a line to block longer is spot on. Puts a shaky line in bad situations

FV mentions that in the piece, and it’s definitely a concern with regard to the Enos offense.

I was very concerned that going from Briles to Enos could fail, because the Hogs are moving away from what it is innovative and modern (and thus advantageous) and into something more conservative, and thus more dependent on out-talenting the opponent. Pittman got his money and is set for life.

Doesn't matter much what offense you're running if the O-line isn't up to par.

Sure but scheme can mask deficiencies to some extent.
You can look at Enos' career and see that, outside of 2015, he's largely been average and been known for a poor running game. On the other hand, when Sam says we're running plays on 1st down hoping to get 3-4 yards, the real problem is obviously at the top.
