I kind of drew from CBB's statements that J Will will start the season for sure and they'll bring Collins along slowly. Or at least that is the intent.

he did say jwill is embracing his role as the #1, right? i figure that was BB's way of tempering fan's expectations about collins coming in immediately.

He also said Jwill reminded him of some of the Whisky backs with more pop in open space...I think Collins talent will eventually put him over the top (it may be next year though), but as for now Jwill is doing everyting Coach B wants

That's exactly what Bielema was doing. He understands the media and fan's excitement over Collins, but made no bones about who the number one back is. Collins will get his opportunities this year, but Williams is the guy right now and Collins has a way to go in Bielema's mind.

I still wouldn't be surprised if Collins is #1 by SEC play.

I would be very surprised. Alex Collins is an elite talent, but people seem to forget that Jonathan Williams is a budding star and has all the tools to be a standout running back. I think they will be a great tandem, and Collins will force them to use more of a two back system later, but Williams will be the guy for a while, I believe.

Jwill and collins will be 1-2 imo. Walker/Holmes will be situational guys.

Holmes getting motioned to slot / motion guy in wildcat. Walker the goalline/3rd and short guy.

ETA: Im excited about patrick arinze also.

That Jumbo package with Kiero, and Arinze and maybe Kody or JWill could be devastating.

I hope Bielema breaks it out on our 30 yard line and just stuffs it down some throats to set a tone and prove a point.

I have no idea but Coach B used it at Wiscy and Chaney used it at Tenn so I'm guessing we will see it.

No wildcat at the scrimmage. I still think they weren't showing much from the playbook.

The kool-aid's getting to me. If Kirkland can get his run blocking up to speed I will be much happier about our O-line.

Kirkland highlights

The dude weighs 350 lbs. All he needs to do is fall forward to successfully run block

The best teams seem to have that 1-2 combo at RB so who really cares who is #1 or #2.

Bama with Lacy/Yeldon, UGA with Gurley/Marshall.

Been plenty more lately as well.
