Bolin may very well be a turd. One of my earliest memories is listening to the Citadel radio broadcast, I've been around for a while. I can say that what he says in the quote below is the absolute, 110% truth.

Well we can't be that much worse then we were last year so I'm not exactly losing sleep over it.
As to the red hot rivalry with Oklahoma not happening because we need wins... we've played that team 15 times. All time.
Only 3 of those games coming after 1926. Why not celebrate the blistering rivalry we have with North Texas who we will play for the 10th time this season? Or lament that we won't be playing New Mexico given our blood feud with them since we've played them three times over the last three decades?
FFS its like saying we are avoiding Minnesota. Oklahoma, for whatever reason, is just a team that we don't play very often. We don't play Kansas State very often either.

He should be discussing Lehigh or Bucknell (discussing the Ivy League would be pointless, maybe these examples matter to someone).

"went to an Ivy League school" for maybe a semester? And then flunked out maybe? He tried to pass himself off as a Cornell grad, and was outed as actually being a grad from one of the small DII Oklahoma directional schools
He also came out of the blocks with some weird obsession with Drew Morgan and Dusty Hannahs. Both Morgan and Hannash at separate times were like "WTF?" at him on Twitter. Literal weird obsessive shite.
And a real journalist is critical when that is merited. Not all the time. This guy is a hack.
