I would normally say go to Disco Saturday night for an hour or so, but after reading this, .......... nope, don't do it.

I'm not going to disco or discovery or whatever the gay place is that has been mentioned. No worries there.

Looks like rent is about to be going up on all of my tenants. This is a good enough reason to jack it up.

It actually has more straights than gays in there. The drag show is funny as shite, especially if want to prank an unsuspecting friend of yours. Its all in good fun, but a lot of hot chicks (not with dicks) go in there.

Best suggestion for the entire weekend is: Always stay north of 630 (unless you are with a LR resident), and find a good Razorback tailgate to stay at.

My crew is always down there, we keep 5 spots right on Fair Park dr for our tailgating. You will be more than welcome to call it your home base.

Its a great spot to watch the NWA folks get their asses whipped when they get too drunk and pop off to the natives. You can spot one about as easy as an opposing fan base team.

I'm sure we'll head over. We usually set up a pretty good spread ourselves, and since the others are driving up I'm sure we'll have all our stuff.

When we went to Missouri, we set up our tailgate and did that for about half the day, then packed up and visited some of the Missouri poster's tailgates until game time. Might do the same thing.

When we went to Fayetteville in 09 we partied next to some Arkansas fans and had a blast. Don't visitors tailgate on a golf course or something? How far is that from your spot?

The red area will be slammed full. The road that divides the 2 red areas is Fair park dr and we are just north of the pond.

Yes
Share this with yo friends, reserve tailgating

This should help with y'all's setup, didn't know you were rolling with a group. I've got some of my friends from Georgia coming in, putting them up in one of my rent houses that I'm remodeling.

Go Hogs

and Go Dawgs

I canceled at the Travelodge and booked at the laquinta on broadway. That's actually a pretty sweet looking la quinta, and they have airport shuttles so no worries about cabs. Clutch.

Any good bars/restaurants in walking distance from there?

You're getting warmer. I guess LaQuinta on Broadway would be good--if you have a case in the federal courthouse nearby. But the River Market District is definitely where I would stay if I was coming in from out of town and wanted an easy walk to restaurants and drinking establishments, especially with limited time and limited knowledge of LR. Part of it for me is I remember how it was many years ago when I worked down there and we didn't have a River Market--then we had a lot of warehouses and a Greyhound bus station (which occasionally generated some excitement) in that area. It is a happening place now.

You can still get there from where you're staying by taxi but it is still several blocks away as is Vino's. Vino's is one of my all-time LR favorites and is a good place to get pizza with a salad and a home brew. If you got there early enough on Friday to make lunch I'd recommend going to the Box close to Vino's where you can get one of LR's best burgers.

Why pay the extra money when you have basically a driver that will drive back and forth to and from the River Market unless you just enjoy pissing money away?

Also Vino's is okay but if you stay too late the emo kids will bring you down and the Box is only open during the week for lunch so that info is useless.

Edited for harshness.
