I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we're a bubble team THIS year

I think our depth will be an issue in the long run. If we stay healthy and get hot at the right time anything is possible though. Either way this team is well prepared and seems to really be playing hard for each other.

I'm amazed at what he's managed to do just since April, especially considering half our team are transfers and are still getting chemistry together.

This is what really sticks out to me, this group seems to really work well together and feed off each other. It just seems like a long way from a patchwork MA team that played as individuals a lot of the time.

He's a better coach than Anderson is by a long shot. But I don't get this "half the team is transfers" thing. He's only running 7 guys out there and other than 2 dudes they're Anderson's players. Hell, even Jimmy Whitt is an Anderson player.

I'm super excited about this team. If Mason Jones can continue to play at this level this team has a very high ceiling. Jones said the other day that he and Isaiah Joe wanted to be one of the best duos in the SEC. Well, I'd say they're one of the best duos in the entire country.

I like that Musselman plots avenues of attack. Anderson (loved dude as a coach and a man) did pretty much just roll the ball out there and let them go. Last night I saw a team that attacked a specific player every time he entered the game. Don't remember the kid's name, but when he was on offense they were eating his lunch every time he touched the ball and when we were on offense we took the ball straight at him on every play until they took him out.

We are not going to win every game by a long shot, but if this team can continue to play perimeter defense like they have been so far they're going to win a bunch. Perimeter defense is how you account for a lack in size. You deny entry passes by making it so their guards can't do a damn thing. Well so far our opponents are a combined 4-42 from behind the arc. This is elite level defense.

If we can get one or two more guys to become 3 ball threats we will be in very good shape.

PS, as of now this team is an NCAAt team, IMO. I don't see anything about their game that is cause for concern.

Basically this team will go how Jalen Harris and Desi Sills go.

We need at least one of them to have a good game, or a combined effort once the competition picks up.

We all know what Isaiah and Mason can do. Jimmy can get a shot if he needs to, but he's not going to be our primary scorer. Adrio needs to get some put backs and knock down a jumper or two every game.

If Jalen and Desi can knock down their open looks it will open up the offense even more.

Also I'm hopeful Jeantal Cylla can be a solid contributor once he gets the feel of things.
