That's good that his QB has played relatively well. But that doesn't tell the whole story for an offense, does it? That's a bit like someone pointing out how awesome our RB's have been and equating that to Jim Chaney being a good OC.

He wasn't OC or QB coach at CMU though.

Give it a few days, look online... read up. He isn't a bad choice at all imho.

CMU averaged 3,105 passing yards per season under Enos. Arkansas averaged 2,113 the last two years under former OC Jim Chaney.

· 46m46 minutes ago
CMU also threw it 40 percent of the time on 1st and 2nd down last year. Arkansas threw it only 22 percent of the time on those downs.

And all of those times were when we had a lead in the 4th quarter.

Although I don't know shite about this guy, know how I already know he's a million x better than Chaney??? ...

... he (Enos) was a closer. Period.

That's all I need to know.

And from a strictly superficial standpoint, ... he's physically fit, nice looking, looks to be "with it" & has an "intense" look about him - doesn't have that "confused" expression, looks young-ish, or at least looks like he acts young, looks very professional & intelligent.

And he was an employed HC, not someone desperately looking for a job. Also, if the new guy is a great recruiter & QB coach (former QBs always make the best QB coaches), he's good with me.

After CBB's out-of-left-field hire of R. Smith as DC, I'm going to trust his hire of Enos as OC. ... At least we've got 2 very nice looking & professional looking, in-shape, young-ish athletic dudes for OC & DC, now - that's an improvement.

He was the QB coach at Michigan State under Dantonio for some time. He was D's best recruiter for a while. He knows offense and was considered a hot up and comer. Looks like he doesn't have HC chops but he's been considered a good offensive mind and recruiter for a long time.

And this is what we need at the OC position - someone who is good with the offense & recruiting & isn't going to be competing with our HC, but working for him. ... Many times, people who are great at their jobs as offensive or defensive coordinators don't make the best head coaches - they're too concentrated on either side of the ball, not the overall picture. Well, that's what we need in an OC - an "expert" on offense (helps that he's a former QB & great recruiter), not a great head coach. We already have that.

So what you're saying is if the elevators don't work he might be able to make it to meetings using the stairs?
