it’s been fun guys but I’m off the wagon for a while. You guys are great fans and it’s been great to hang around with you. Maybe one day I will get it back but it’s gone right now.

Carson Shaddy's full retard foul ball moment just took its place in Razorback choke history. It's right near the top.

Jim Callis @jimcallisMLB
8th-rder Jax Biggers, @Rangers agree to terms on $166,400 bonus (full pick 239 value). Arkansas SS, gap-to-gap hitter, average runner, utility type. @MLBDraft

Jim Callis @jimcallisMLB
11th-rder Kacey Murphy, @tigers agree to terms on $145k bonus ($25k counts vs pool). Arkansas LHP, VG pitchability, good control of three pitches (fastball to 93 mph, averagish curveball & changeup). @MLBDraft

Jim Callis @jimcallisMLB
10th-rder Carson Shaddy signs w/@Nationals for $10k (pick 311 value = $136,900). Arkansas 2B, senior sign, offers versatility, some pop, strong makeup. By my calculations, if Nats push bonus pool to 105%, they can pay 1st-rder Mason Denaburg $3,065,490. @MLBDraft

Looks like quite a few of the players might be bailing for the MLB

Jim Callis @jimcallisMLB

"bailing"? I'd say they are being smart and going when they have leverage. Seniors don't sign for shite.

It’s frustrating people don’t get this. They also complain about Shaddy not getting his signing bonus for his pick without understanding the fact he would not have been drafted close to the tenth round if not for being a senior sign to save bonus money for his team’s bonus pool.

This isn’t the NFL or NBA draft.

MLB is very, very different when it comes to when (year/age) and where (round) drafted.
