Still pouring in Omaha and the radar is very bad. We aren't playing at 11. Hopefully we can get it in at some point.

In the past few minutes I've read reports it isn't raining now, raining but about to quit, clear by noon and no way we get the game in today.

Yeah that big arse cell is just moving so damn slowly and ever so slightly northeast. Once this back end moves out we'll start our game.
Accu says the rain will stop in about 80 minutes, throw in 30 for warm up.

Rain delay programming on the radio has game 2 of the '12 CWS against USCe, the game we won, hopefully bringing some good mojo.
Listening to that game I forgot how weak our lineup was, though our pitching was STACKED. There might have been 1-2 guys, at best, that would start in the field for this team.

Yeah, that was one of those years we had the pitching and not the hitting. Never could put both together until this year really.
Stanek and Baxendale were so damn good. Stanek is killing it in the majors right now.

Yes forgot about Reynolds. I couldn't remember if '12 was good Ficociello or bad Ficociello; though he'd probably be an upgrade at first in either case. But Gates has really turned it on since the post season.

Still crazy both of those guys didn't make it and their careers are over already. Suggs was a 2nd round pick and never even made double A.
