Makes sense, I was reading a USM forum and they thought for sure we'd want to throw Kacey vs their lefty heavy lineup (assuming they win).
You look at their roster and their top 3 hitters are lefties, and of their 7 guys hitting .300 or better, 5 are lefties.

I'm torn on throwing your Ace game 1. The lefty match-ups make me feel a little better about a potential game 2 against USM, not that Murphy hasn't been pretty solid.

The Golden Eagles played in a shite conference. Over half the games they played were outside the top 150.
They'll throw Sandlin against DBU to stay out of the losers bracket. Murph can handle them in game 2.
